Hollywood Wiretap's assessments of reactions to Kim Masters' Los Angeles piece about the continuing or gathering threats (all being a matter of public relations perception) to Paramount studio president Gail Berman. I'm so on top of this situation...not. The implication in the piece seems pretty obvious, but I'd love to dig up something of my own. That's a hint.

Sure looks like a hit to me. We'll know on Sat.
But all these bloggers like Nikki Finke, David Poland and, uh, Jeff Wells have ZIPPO experience in filmmaking. They are, of course, "experts" anyway.
And asking an agent how they feel is the ultimate in foolishness. They're hardly unbiased and are, after all, the scum of the earth, for the most part.
As ex-agent Guy McElwaine is quoted in Joe Esterhas' last book, "There is nothing as black as the black heart of an agent".
It's these greedmongers who are driving up the price of talent and movies in general. Sure, the studios are to blame too. And the egomaniacal directors, stars, producers.....
