Beside the fact that it hasn't come out widely in the States yet, Bielinsky will always been known for the sublime gem NINE QUEENS.

I had lunch with Fabien at the Toronto Film Festival on September 10th. We were set to meet again on September 11th, then the world changed. We spoke on the 11th, both in shock, and trapped in the city as the borders were all closed. I will never forget sharing that moment with him.
I remember him telling me on the 10th that he had won a screenwriting contest he entered for Nine Queens- and that was how he got it made and fulfilled his dream of being a screenwriter and director.
