"Canst thou not minister to a mind diseased,
Pluck from the memory a rooted sorrow,
Raze out the written troubles of the brain,
And with some sweet oblivious antidote
Cleanse the stuffed bosom of that perilous stuff
Which weighs upon the heart?"
-- Macbeth, William Shakespeare, 5-3

As good as place as any to mention the suicide of actor Ben Hendrickson.
While he was mostly known for his long term gig on a soap, I'll remember his memorable work as the surly father in David Russell's Spanking the Monkey.
RIP BH....

Oh, for Heaven's sake, Jeff.
Memory plucking is expensive, dangerous, and illegal.....and there could be some pain involved.
GO.SEE.THE.MOVIE.AGAIN.
You missed something the first time Jeff......quite a bit in fact.....perhaps because your mind was already a bit diseased with rooted (some would say root-bound) sorrow.......
....if you think your heart is too weighed down, think of poor Davy and learn from his mistake.....(see its instructive, too)
Tah!
