David Poland riffing amusingly (if a little too fast) about Pirates, Shama-Lama-Disney (he calls Lady in the Water "a question mark"), and Super-licensing on iklipz.

Mr.Wells,I just want to say how much I love your blog.I've been reading it faithfully ever since I found out and I'm always looking forward to your next article.I also love the fact that you only talk about film. Many movie bloggers have the tendency to include TV in their posts ,ignoring that film and TV are not the same thing,no matter how much they look alike.

Just watched it. David Poland is an even bigger jerk than I imagined.
It's not easy to do a bit about what's happening and keep the ball in the air and at the same time keep it frothy and snappy. My own tendency on a mike is to speak like I'm talking to someone one-on-one, but that tends to feel de-energized to some.
Is it just me or does it seem like he has a grudge against Brian Singer?

Those who cant get jobs, like David Poland, invent blogs. He spouts off, but says nothing. He's laughable.

Poland is the worst kind of Hollywood lint - smug, sanctimonious and without a genuine sense of humor. Unlike Jeff, he actually resents the industry that he writes about. My only question is why the studios bother to give him time of day. He reminds me of Rex Reed at his worst.
