Passage to last night's Snakes on a Plane premiere and after-party; waiting patiently for the usual can of Red Bull at the Snakes after-party; outside Mann's Chinese as the Snakes screening was just letting out; the El Capitan on Hollywood Blvd., more or less opposite the Mann Chinese 6.

Agreed - it's a VERY fun movie, but only if you see it with the right crowd.
Going to a 3pm matinee is NOT gonna cut it.

Yeah. I don't know how anyone couldn't have fun at this flick. It's not high art obviously, so going into it expecting greatness is foolish. But for some funny as heck snake on human action, then this doesn't disappoint.
The best part of my showing? They had the wrong lens going for the first few minutes, so I went and told them the ticket guy...then it was misframed until the second reel. Made it all the more enjoyable though.
