Well no, because Scorcese is original, and doesn't use Warner Bros. to buy up and bury Asian films. Plus Asian filmmakers owe a debt to Scorcese. See John Woo's "The Killer" as one example. In fact, there was an article posted a year ago in which Chinese entertainment rags were disappointed that Marty didn't win an Oscar.
