Isn't this the same funny trailer for Night at the Museum (20th Century Fox, 12.20) that's been kicking around since Labor Day, if not before? That Robin Williams/Teddy Roosevelt bit is hilarious. (Meaning it'll be tired when we finally see the film.) Thing is, it says "January 2007" at the very end -- I just checked with a Fox rep and the opening date is definitely 12.20.06, so it appears the "human element" kicked in and somebody erred. The rep said they won't be screening it until sometime in early December due to the scores of visual effects that have to be tweaked just so.

It's a British site, Jeff. January 07 for the UK.
And the Robin Williams thing is what instantly turns me off of this one.

A few years ago, there was a Gore Vidal novel about how the exhibits in the Smithsonian come to life at night and interact with the novel's hero. Vidal should sue.

Isn't Night at the Museum a remake to begin with?
And i take back what I said earlier about Williams turning me off of this one. It's really the director, Shawn Levy.
(Not to be confused with Shawn Levy of the Oregonian)

OT: Robert Altman has died.
And, one might say, rare in Hollywood he died a free man.

JW Ego- Perhaps because Night at the Museum looks rote and done before, that's why I was ASKING if it was a remake.
The question mark should have been the dead giveaway on that one, as I was inquiring if the film was a remake, as opposed to blatently stating it.
Maybe if you take less time thinking up of ways to start fights with Poland, and start actually, i don't know, contributing something that's actually funny or at the very least insightful, you wouldn't proudly display YOUR stupidity at the inability to idenitfy a question.
I am nothing vaguely related to Jeff Wells, and this ego schtick is almost as annoying as that aspiring crack addict guy.
Almost.

You did use a question, but you stated it as if you were pretty sure of what you thought. Like "Isn't that Jeff Wells that everyone is avoiding like the plague." You thought there was a very good chance it was a remake. Don't think. It isn't your strong suit.
I have no fights with Poland. He fears my knowledge. I am Jeff's Ego.

This is the old teaser that's been kicking around forever. A much longer, much more craptastic and somehow even less funny trailer is already playing in front of BORAT in Century City, so your rep is further adding to the "human element" by wearing his/her ass as a hat.

Ouch. I got served.
You're all right, I apologize. I didn't realize it was a children's book, obviously I can't read. And I guess when I implied I thought it was a remake I must have been thinking of The Relic.
Forgive me, oh lords of all knowledge pertaining to Night at the Museum.
