Yeah, the National Society likes to mix things up a bit, so I'd like to think at least one of those lead posts will go to somebody else...
Anybody remember 1989? Michelle Pfeiffer won EVERY major film critics award for "The Fabulous Baker Boys" - EVERY ONE - and who won the Oscar? Jessica Tandy for "Driving Miss Daisy."
When the PUBLIC gets a hold of "Happyness," I fear for Whitaker...Smith, if he does an even better than decent job, is just too popular and has brought the industry millions...though Mirren may tough it out and win.
