Al Gore on his own

If you go by the notion that a projection of character and personality in Presidential candidate is what attracts votes (and not philosophy or policies or governmental administrative know-how), this un-aired Spike Jonze video of Al Gore sitting around and being himself (mostly in the company of his family) during the 2000 election would have elected him hands down if...a big "if"...this video had been shown all over the place and everyone had taken the five or six minutes to watch it.

Opening title says Spike Jonze, not Lee.

Things more likely to have elected Gore than this video:

1) Dems being competitive enough in the South to win Florida decisively rather than have it be a mess settled by the courts

2) Ralph Nader staying out of his way and all the lefties who rant about Bush so much having voted for Gore rather than going around saying "It doesn't make any difference which one, man"

3) Gore not having been (hmmmf) frickin' bizarre in a (hmmmf) different way in each of the (hmmmf) three presidential debates

4) Clinton resigning and Gore running for REelection

Gore did win in 2000. Five old men in robes decided he didn't.

Yeah, Gore won the election but the Supreme Court took it from him and handed it to Bush because Haliburton Blood For Oil Skull and Bones Rothschild Secret Jewish Puppet Masters Living In A Mountain Controlling the World Diebold Steering Air Force Drones Into the World Trade Center Bush Family Daddy Haliburton Haliburton $*#(033 error message) **....

Sorry, the Angry Liberal Auto Responder seems to have a glitch. (Or as I suspect, tampering by Diebold caused a meltdown)

In other news... Does anyone else find it ironic that a group called Move On is comprised of so many people that do anything but that?

Well, it's nice to know that the Debate Infantilization 2000 is still operating smoothly.

If that or the Automated Straw Man Machine ever breakdown, this site may actually have to stick to movies.

I'd love to see the tape of Arnold Schwarzenegger getting hot and bothered over a female interviewer again. The one where he thought the camera was off, and he loses himself -- "You're so hot." It was showed about once and disappeared forever.

This Spike Jonze piece did, in fact, air. It was shown at the Democratic Convention (outside of prime time) and broadcast on CSPAN. I realize that this is as close to "not airing" as you can get and still be technically on the air.
