I'm not finding a YouTube clip of Peter O'Toole's encounter with David Letterman last night. (Has anyone located a clip anywhere else?) A producer friend just wrote and said O'Toole "was fantastic on Letterman last night...can't we envision things moving his way now?" In the meantime, consider this brilliant O'Toole moment from Richard Rush's The Stunt Man.

they usually post it in a few days.
as does people on youtube.com

The "Stuntman" is a wonderful film with two excellent performances by Peter O'Toole and the under appreciated Steve Railsback. Thanks for that clip.

O'Toole as Eli Cross in "The Stunt Man" is as good as it gets. Yeah, he lost to De Niro for "Raging Bull" in 1980, and well, what you can say except: bad timing?

O'Toole as Cross is Jimmy Page at Earl's Court in 1975. I can think of no higher compliment.
