Resonates at a given time

Sometimes there's no explanation -- not a simple, easy to-digest one, anyway -- why a certain song seeps through and resonates at a given time. Maybe if the word "Talk" was substituted for the word "Write"...I don't know. I'm also hearing "Jeepster", a T-Rex/Marc Bolan track that Quentin Tarantino uses in Death Proof, over and over. Mainly because it's good.

I know the feeling... I've been too word-whipped to jump into even the juiciest frays this week... just don't have the jam to be one of the Inexhaustibles - hats off to you all, even the homicidally flippant troll...

BTW - that T-Rex you're groping for is "Jeepster." And I noticed there's a piece of the Donaggio "Blow Out" score in there, too... I can't wait to see this fucking thing.

Wells. Obtain a copy of T.Rex's greatest hits at once! There are at least half a dozen songs from recent movies from Marc Bolan and the gang. Jeepster, Bang a Gong, 20th Century Boy, Telegram Sam, Children of the Revolution and so on.
Or just listen to Jonsey's Juke Box (103.1 FM 12:00 to 2:00 weekdays). He seems to play a T. Rex song about every single day.
