Slash your tires

Never, ever try and pull a fast one on New Yorkers in terms of illegal or unpaid-for parking -- they'll skin you alive and eat your children -- Wednesday, 3.28.07, 5:25 pm

That's the most fair, pragmatic, truly American sign I've seen in awhile--I miss New York.
Just between you and me, no law, no tow co.'s, no fines.

Love it.

What about the shooter one you shot of Venice? That was nuts.

Do you have trouble parking cars or something?
Bad valet memories, perhaps?

We need these types of warnings in LA for people who just leave their shopping carts in the middle of the parking lot; people who drive solo in the carpool lane; people who use the right hand turn lane at intersections to sneak past all the people waiting at the red light; people who bring their spawn to R rated movies because they're too f'ing cheap to hire a sitter...

But the shopping carts already have one wheel missing.

Hey, I can relate, but whoever made that sign must not have much of a sense of irony...the car is STILL THERE, occupying the precious parking space. In fact as long as they're not vandalazing it in some other manner, it's not a a bad proposition considering the cost of parking or the alternative to having it towed...some air and a license plate for free parking in NY? Not bad...

I saw a nice white Mercedes this morning with the words "No Parking!" scrawled across the hood in black marker.

Vigilantism is alive and well in LA.

This sign is right around the corner from where I live. Once upon a time that "lot" was used for vans for a now-defunct restaurant (which is why they placed the signs -- people were parking there and the vans had no where to go). Nowadays there are hardly any cars that park there.
