The Cannes Film Festival is "a long way to go to see Sicko a few weeks early. And it's a rather expensive trip to see next year's Robert Koehler Collection three months before the highlights all land in Toronto." -- from David Poland's 4.20 Hot Blog...funny. But does this mean Poland has figured out a way to see No Country For Old Men and My Blueberry Nights in Los Angeles sometime next month?

It's just typical, condescending Poland, coming up with an excuse for why he's not going to Cannes even though the films shown there are always far superior to that of almost any other festival, in my opinion.

i know i'm gonna get killed for this but i'd rather die than cover cannes again...it's not just a 'young man's game' anymore...it's a 'dumb man's game' now...it's just too much hassle for too little stuff....
