From today's IMDB: It was one thing for the character played by Joseph R. Gannascoli to be beaten to death with pool cues and sodomized with one on The Sopranos after the mob learned he was gay; it was quite another for Gannascoli to endorse a Rockwell Billiards pool cue inscribed with the phrase "A Cue to Die For," the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation protested Monday. "It's highly inappropriate that what served as a very real example of the hateful violence the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community faces is now being used as a gimmick to sell a product," GLAAD President Neil G. Giuliano said in a statement. "The insensitive inclusion of the pool cue in the 'To Die For' marketing theme betrays the legacy of The Sopranos character and is unacceptable." GLAAD is demanding that the words "A Cue to Die For" be removed from the product and that Rockwell Billiards and Gannascoli "apologize for using such a vulgar symbol of violence and anti-gay bigotry to make a profit."

I was born to be on the MPAA ratings board. Making out with a dog is an oblique allusion, and nuzzling a horse is carnal, the gratification of the senses or the indulgence of appetite.

You're right p., they (she) cares about the "kids already picking up a few coarse words at preschool, [so] she decided to keep them [ages 2 to 5] away from 'Shrek the Third' after seeing the MPAA's warning of 'crude humor.'

"'They're at that age where they're exposed to potty humor almost every day,' [she] said. 'Seeing it repeated in the media doesn't help you keep things under control.'"

Huh?, if they're not exposed to their own potty thoughts and language every hour, they're a lost cause.

It was a big on the nose I guess, but in Vito's final scene, when he walks into his motel room and Phil Leotardo slowly stepped out through the sliding doors of his closet, it was one of the coolest moments ever on that show.
