This photo of a photo doesn't really capture how bizarrely airbrushed and pancaked Jonah Hill's face is on the cover of the current EW (#948, 8.17), and how his expression is mainly distinguished by how completely divorced it is any of the emotions or attitudes he projects in the film...weird.

You're 100% right. Both of them look like they've been shot up with Botox in these pics--which is kind of a strange choice, since part of the appeal of the movie is that the high school characters they portray are so real... NOT cleaned up, NOT polished, and above all in Hill's case, NOT particularly good-looking. That said, who cares? The movie is hilarious.

It's not Hill's photo that's going to cause the problems. I, myself, don't have an issue with the cover, but check EW's mailbag in about a month. They're going to get a flood of complaints about what is shown over Hill's left shoulder. Book it.
