Bronx Dracula

El Cantante star Marc Anthony -- a.k.a., "Mr. Lopez" -- looks as "undead in person" as he did in the film," reports New York magazine's "Fug Girls" in the "Show & Talk" column. "Lopez slid in [to a Jennifer Lopez fashion show] about twenty minutes before the house lights went down. He looked faintly cranky, and his pallor was typically zombified. He wasn't bothered by too many flashbulbs, although that might be because vampires don’t show up on film." I worship people who write like this. If a guy looks like a Bronx Dracula, don't pussyfoot around...say it!

The guy looks like a cokehead to me. Super thin, dead looking greasy skin, shifty eyes...I say cokehead, unless he really is a vampire.

These days you look at Bringing Out the Dead and say, "yup, that's him alright."

Maybe La Lopez sucked all life out of him. He certainly looks like a walking skeleton, hence his nickname "Skeletor".

I repeat a question I asked in a previous thread re: El Cantante...

At what point are we supposed to believe he contracts AIDS? He always looks that way.

EL CANTANTE was a major drag, except for the scenes when Anthony actually sang.

Whether you're a fan or not, the guy is an electric performer. In the Latino community, he's a superstar, and those scenes showed you why.

Just saw J.Lo and Marc at a luncheon event and he was sharp, funny, relaxed, looked great, spoke on stage and was charming, self-deprecating, seemed happy to be a big music star with a famous gorgeous wife.

Gee, I hate to crater a good nasty rumor, but there you have it. It's the truth, Ruth....
