Go, Bambi!

Posted 14 months ago, this is one of the most emotionally satisfying payback scenes I've ever witnessed, and that includes the thousands of movies I've seen since I was three or four. I kept hoping this brave and valiant Bambi would try to finish the guy off by goring him in the neck with his antlers.

I don't care what pro-hunting opinions might be posted here, I'm 1000% on the side of that deer! I wish deers packed guns to settle matters even more satisfyingly.

Without debating about the moral question of hunting for a moment, here's something to consider:

Could you feel sorry for anyone who was killed by an animal they were hunting, and would you be able to say that the hunter didn't deserve it?

While watching this video there was part of me that wanted this guy to die just for maximum irony.

It is a funny video. I don't mind people hunting animals, but hunters deserve to be attacked by their prey. Steve Irwin got what he deserved, and he was only trying to help animals. Hunters deserve to be killed by their prey. It is only fair.

There's got to be a scientific reason he doesn't impale the guy, which has something to do with the quagmire in Iraq and the movies in Hollywood. But isn't there something to be upbeat about today, like finding out you can buy a pound of lanolin on ebay for $9?

I have and will always love that video but my one question is:

what the fuck was the guy with the video camera doing? why wasn't he helping his friend?

Dumb-ass hicks.

Wait a minute.... maybe the revenge part goes farther than we think.

Another deer was video taping and dumped it on the web as a warning!

Prepare for the coming war, people.

Be glad to oblige you, George. Being the only true liberal on this board, I'll just ask what's wrong with our moral compass when we prefer to see humans hurt over animals. Hey, maybe the deer could have killed him painfully, wouldn't that be hilarious?

I see that Larry is one of those "classical liberals" I keep hearing about. It's kind of like being the Omega Man, except with people.

An obviously staged video. About as authentic as America's Funniest Pets, or whatever plays on Animal Planet.

I figured we haven't had a good shoe conversation in a while. Gotta go, there's a boot sale this weekend... the hot weather must be killing them.

That's an old clip.... it was used a couple years ago to hilarious effect on the Emmy's.... either Letterman or Conan used it, along with other videos of animals attacking, when listing their writers...

And the deer isn't "attacking" the hunter.... he's trying to fuck him... really... hunters use female deer scent to attrack the deer they are hunting.... this one got a little too turned on...

you think it would've been cool to see that deer kill him? imagine how much more entertaining it would have been if we got footage of that hunter getting jammed in the can by him

Humans that hunt animals for "sport" deserve whatever they get. And the day the animals pack heat, then it will be a fair fight. Bullfighters are the worst of the bunch -- they spear the bull first so the bull is already injured when the "fight" starts. A real fight would be to let him the ring with the idiot machismo bullfighter and let them go mano a mano. I hate people and I truly do wish that this hunter would have gotten his eyes poked out by Bambi. And I wouldn't have cared at all. I don't eat animals, I don't wear animals and I don't carry animal skins as fancy handbags or wear them on my feet. I find it disgusting, particularly when we live in a society where we can get comparable goods that are made from synthetic materials where nothing needed to die so I could look good or satisfy my palette.

Hm. I guess all those little critters that get chopped to pieces when they plow the fields for your veggies are just fertilizer. But I'm sure you grow your own food. Hydroponically of course.

Face it. We kill things to live, one way or another. We should try and be responsible, but it's pretty much unavoidable.

Oh, and I'm not a hunter by the way. Fish a little though.
