The Guardian's Peter Bradshaw is absolutely correct in his interpretation of this Lion King clip. The lioness Nala "is settling back in a very languorous and inviting manner" as she looks up at Simba, "and then we cut to a close-up on Nala's face, and that...minxy facial expression of a Disney character who clearly and explicitly wants something that I can't remember a Disney character wanting before or since: vigorous and protracted penetrative sex." This is apparently the only animated sex scene in the 80-year history of Disney studios.

A bit random to see this 13 years since the movie was released, but I was a pervy 6th or 7th grader when it came out and I always thought that was a very "come hither" sexual look.
Happy Feet easily trumps it, though. My girlfriend's comments when we watched it on DVD a while back were "Dirty! This is dirty! There's too much penguin sexuality in this movie!"

Nice... but the clip showcased under "Is this the greatest YouTube clip of all time?" on the same page deserves its own attention.

Supposedly some Disney animators were involved in making this thing in the late 20s (on their own time, of course):

I don't wanna judge but in that bio picture that dude LOOKS like the sort of guy who gets off on Disney characters giving him come hither looks. Sorry.
Besides Touchstone=Disney=Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Jessica Rabbit=Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
therefore: Disney has totally allowed their characters to be into "penetrative sex" before.
And that doesn't count the freeze-frame animator jokes in that movie either.
There are lots of things you can say about Jessica Rabbit but "asexual" is not one of them.
I've now given this more airing than it was due. Can we let it be?
Yeesh.

So tomorrow THE LION KING will be condemned on the floor of the House of Commons and by the end of the week it will be illegal to own any stills form it.

Not to be a party crasher but Tramp knocked up Lady. It's in the movie. Go watch it. After the two split up at the end of act two, that little Scotty dog and the dog who can't smell show up arguing about whose going to propose to her. Now why exactly would two dogs of noble character be debating marriage to the abandoned Lady?
