I'm loving the Boston shots, Jeff, but I hope you're getting out of the Back Bay while you're here. It's not exactly the most exciting part of town.

Wells to Rob: Getting out of Back Bay? I've barely gotten out of the apartment. I'm just hunkered down and banging stuff out. Exciting life.

I'd love to see some Wells pix from a show at the Middle East. We know you're down with the cool kids music.

Which reminds me, when I was attending B.U. there was this creepy guy who would show up at random Allston house parties that went by the name of "Rake". Had a long trenchcoat and greasy, stringy hair, and was at least 35 years old.

Now 35 myself, I'd like to think that I could blend into one of those undergrad shindigs with a lot more dignity. Not naming myself after a garden tool would probably help.

I think by the time the kids hook JW up with the music, those bands are playing the Orpheum. Maybe not, he's reasonably cool. Maybe he saw the Shins play to 60 people at TT the Bears. Jeff, Dok Bua in Brookline right up Harvard from Coolidge Corner- really good Thai food, and spicy, it will warm you up.
