Beverly Center escalator

That La Cienega-facing Beverly Connection escalator that those skilled blue-collar craftsmen have been working on for -- what? -- the last two and a half years or whatever is finally up and working...jeez.

Great. Is there any reason to actually use it? As I recall there isn't much in the actual mall, especially with the crappy movie theater now gone.

Does your Old Navy sell higher thread-count clothes than our Old Navy? Or do you just buy out-of-season clearance stuff at Marshall's?

So now it's just that much easier to get into my least favorite place in LA!
And actually Rich, Old Navy, Marshalls and Sport Chalet are across the street from the hallowed ground of Beverly Connection. They are the pilot fish to the mighty Beverly Connection consumer shark. They are the afterbirth. The retarded conjoined twin. The...

The Beverly Connection is a whole other animal than the Beverly Center. I spent many hot summer afternoons watching movies in the Connection's cavernous theaters.

Based on this and the new and improved Century City mall it appears the Grove's success has caused the bar to be raised city-wide...

LYT: Mann bought the theater, so you can still see overpriced shit from the Arclight and Grove there cheap-if you wait a few months.
But yeah, the place has been going down-hill since they got rid of the arcade and the Sam Goody store.
