Dan Rather in attendance
I spotted Dan Rather walking around the Park City Marriott a couple of hours ago. I should have cornered him, asked what's doing, taken his picture...but I'm a notorious wimp when it comes to such opportunities. Unlike Rather, I presume. Let's face it -- in the old days Rather would have looked down his nose at covering this festival and schlepping around like the rest of us. We're living in a new world.

Yes, you're right Stephe96, Cloverfield is fake, and there really isn't a monster attacking New York City.
The difference between that and Rather's situation though is that while his particular evidence may or may not be fake, Bush really was a draft dodger and really didn't fulfill his commitments.

If that's true, why did Rather have to rely on phony documents to support his case? Tell me: did you believe Rather when he told you his sources were 'unimpeachable?' Or did you believe him when he said he couldn't "authenticate" them? Why doesn't Rather simply reveal where he got those documents and then we can all determine for ourselves whether or not they're reliable?

I wonder if he thinks the forged documents are in Utah. Hes really getting to the bottom of that story.
How does he still walk around with his head held high? Either he got played badly by a drunk or he was in the tank for the Democratic Party. Tough to have ANY credibility left after that.
