I guess the California polling places are finally geared up now. (A lot of them reportedly weren't this morning.) I'm heading off to the West Knoll apartments (just north of Melrose) to do my duty. If anyone reading this hasn't yet voted...hubba-hubba.

Yeah, a lot of those voting places are probably screwed over by Arnie's budget cuts.

"Voters in both parties most frequently picked the economy as the most important issue facing the country. Given three choices, half of Democratic primary voters picked the economy, three in 10 said the war in Iraq and the remaining two in 10 said health care. Republican primary voters had four choices for that question and four in 10 picked the economy; two in 10 picked immigration and the war in Iraq and somewhat fewer said terrorism."

But who trusts the liberal media? After all, the economy is just great, right, Mgmax?

Shut up, DZ. You are an idiot. I hope you decided not to vote on the assumption that your polling place was going to have tumbleweeds around it.

Hmmm. Massachusetts has gone for Hillary Clinton. Must be a lot of ill-educated women and Hispanics there, right?

Went to my polling place in Laurel Canyon. My name was easy for them to find as it was one of probably one (maybe MAYBE two) that said "Rep." next to it. Turnout seemed big. The little street was filled with the BMWs and Porches of your typical working class, "regular blue-collar stiff" Democrat. (of course there were at least four brand spanking Prius's, though)
A little disconcerting that nobody asked for any form of identification to prove that I was who I claimed to be but of course if they had I guess that would've been a brutal, Ashcroftian violation of my precious civil liberties.
Go McCain. (naturally I only say that because I hate women and black people)
