Mafioso (The Criterion Collection, 3.18.2008) Nino Badalamenti is a supervisor in a car manufacturing plant who hasn't taken a vacation in over two years. On his way out the door to visit his beloved childhood hometown of Sicily -- with his blonde wife and daughters -- Nino is handed a package by his boss and asked to deliver it to a powerful and influential Sicilian gangster named Don Vincenzo. Once in Sicily, Nino has a hoot seeing friends and family, but his wife has trouble fitting in and is unfairly dismissed as a snob by Nino's family. No important reason for running this Burn After Reading shot of costars George Clooney and Frances McDormand. I was recently sent those John Malkovich-attacking-Richard Jenkins-with- an-axe photos from a guy with IMDB Pro, but I liked this one better. I read the Coen Brothers' script several months ago and had a good time with it. The movie I directed and saw in my head as I read it was very sharp and funny. It'll debut at the Cannes Film Festival on 5.14.08 and open theatrically in the US on 9.26.08.

I hope I'm not the only one who has to explain how hot McDormand is. And I've never seen so much snide pussy hating based on so little. This is the way movie theaters have been lit in movies for decades. I'm going to guess Balthazar was a JUNO fan, or his parents were killed by Anton Chigurh.

I too, mumbleboy, thought that it was Patricia Arquette the first time I saw the photo. Frances Mcdormand can definitely be sexy in the right role - just check out Laurel Canyon. She was very hot in the film and, in my humble opinion, she was sexier than Kate Beckinsale was in the film.

Come on people this is most probably a still, not the scene from the film. Remember all the complaining about the lighting in those Indy IV stills? The scenes in the actual film (at least from the trailer) were much better looking.
