Normally, I take anything Fox News releases with several grains (if not the entire shaker) of salt. But consider the results of their exit polls today in Virginia:

White voters: Clinton 51, Obama 48
Women voters: Obama 58, Cliton 42
Seniors: Obama 53, Clinton 47
Late-deciders: Clinton 52, Obama 48
Young voters: Obama 80, Clinton 20
Independents: Obama 66, Clinton 33

IF the Democrats end up nominating Obama. It will be just like the time they nominated Mondale. In other words a candidate that can't win. Obama only has the wins because so many black voters are coming out and voting for the first time just to see one of there own win the nomination. Obama has no real plan of action other than speaking feel good words of change. The idiot nation keeps forgeting change does not happen unless congress is on board with the plan. There in lies the problem. Barak has no plan just Oprah Winfrey feel good speaches. The Republican party machine will tear him apoart no matter who wins there nomination. The only hope the US has now is if Bloomberg steps in.

Used to think so too. Highly doubtful tho. He'd be like Ralph Nader x2 = Pres. McCain. Unlike Perot, he ain't stupid.

With no Romney, the Republican machine is hoping for a democratic route. They hate McCain, and see the next president as a one termer. They also want out of Iraq, and for a democrat to be blamed for the subsequent fallout. The Republicans are already making Romney 2012 signs. A democrat is guaranteed the white house next january, McCain will be blamed, but it's all part of the republican plan.

Todd: Mondale tried to be all things to all people. Obama is actually building coalitions and alliances.

Mark: The Republicans aren't going to make the Dems look bad on Iraq the way they did on Vietnam, since the Republicans don't even make any pretense of responsible leadership anymore. The only way for them to win in four years is if they are able to do anything useful for their constituents in the few seats they have left.
