CHUD's Devin Faraci has just talked to producer Joel Silver at the Speed Racer press day, and he disclosed that Justice League won't affect Wonder Woman as the former has been "tabled" -- i.e., deep-sixed. I've had a couple of sleepless nights over the fate of the Justice League film so it's profoundly comforting that the issue is finally settled.

After the profound successes of Catwoman and Elektra, I can see why they're excited to make Wonder Woman.
I hope they cast Helen Slater.

I sense a slight bit of sarcasm in that last sentence, Mr. Wells.

I couldn't care less about the Justice League of America per se, but you wanna know why this totally sucks?? Because that Justice League film was going to be directed by George Miller, who is one of the greatest working directors in the world.
I was hoping that this would have cemented Miller's return to the A-list, but I guess we'll have to wait and suffer through Wonder Woman instead.

"directed by George Miller, who is one of the greatest working directors in the world."
I kept repeating that statement while my eyes were bleeding during the last act of "Happy Feet."

Holy shit YES! I actually did have sleepless night hoping this movie would never get made. I'm sorry, but it would just cheapen everything Christopher Nolan has done. And, to a lesser extent, Bryan Singer's hard work pounding us over the head that Superman is Jesus.
All that said, what's a vagina feel like?

Whenever I think of the Justice League-- not, mind you, often-- I imagine them all coming into a conference room for a 9:30 meeting, Batman's late as usual because he's up all night, Superman takes a bran muffin, the Green Lantern keeps staring at Wonder Woman's cleavage and wishing he had x-ray vision, and the Flash launches into a Powerpoint that lasts fricking forever and doesn't really say anything. And none of them think it's hilarious that they're sitting there in Halloween costumes the whole time.

Actually, Batman would be there about an hour before the meeting started because he's so anal retentive.

Wake me when someone does a Crime Syndicate of America movie. Owlman and Johnny Quick have been ignored by Hollywood for too long.
