Discland

Mafioso (The Criterion Collection, 3.18.2008) Nino Badalamenti is a supervisor in a car manufacturing plant who hasn't taken a vacation in over two years. On his way out the door to visit his beloved childhood hometown of Sicily -- with his blonde wife and daughters -- Nino is handed a package by his boss and asked to deliver it to a powerful and influential Sicilian gangster named Don Vincenzo. Once in Sicily, Nino has a hoot seeing friends and family, but his wife has trouble fitting in and is unfairly dismissed as a snob by Nino's family. Even more worrisome, Nino finds himself entangled in an intricate web of secret mafioso dealings and is eventually sent on an unexpectedly... elaborate errand. (continued)

Founding Fathers

"I keep thinking we should include something in the Constitution in case the people are too dumb to realize it when they've been given a shot at electing a candidate of an obviously superior grade with a once-in-a-lifetime potential to begin to truly transform and set things right, and...you know, when their brain pans won't allow them to understand that electing hollow proven liars offering retreads of past campaigns is only going to make things worse." I assume theyre referring to Ron Paul, considering he is the only candidate who seems to have read the Constitution.

Which is probably why he has no chance of winning.

Ron Paul, the candidate the media won't talk about. He's in the Oregon Voters Guide. I'm assuming that means he'll be on the Republican Ballots.

Yes, Obama the Constitutional Law Professor has never read the Constitution. Only Ron Paul can save us!

I think the Founders should have included a "Sore Losers" clause that would allow the federal government to regulate supporters of one candidate scapegoating opponents or the media when said supporters have failed to properly vet the background of their preferred candidate and are surprised when it bites them in the a**..

i wish they had put something in there about warning us against empty men with shallow promises of CHANGE, men who have never accomplished anything in life, men who feed off the desperation of the intelligensia. but... nah.

"You think we should implicitly state this country is not a democracy, something we all agree is an awful thing?"

"Oh no, they wouldn't be so stupid as to believe that. We'll just never mention that word in the entire document."

Looks like Obama supporters are doing everything they can to shed that "elitist" tag, eh? This continued insistence of "We-know-better-than-you-ism" is what will ultimately hurt Obama in the end.
