Reviled ABC news guy Charles Gibson (who, along with George Stephanopoulos, degraded the level of discussion during the Pennsylvania presidential primary debate), interviews author Arianna Huffington about her book, "Right is Wrong," which explains how the lunatic right has taken over the conversation on values and patriotism.

Wow. So now Charlie Gibson is "reviled"? Why? Because he, along with Stepanopoulos, are such unrepentant tools of the Right Wing Republican Hate Machine?
Come on, people! We must drum out of public life ANY journalist who doesn't kiss the honey-voiced ass of Barack Obama!
Just curious.... is Dan Rather reviled?

Put down the kool-aid Jeff. Even Obama admitted those questions were "fair game" in his Chris Wallace interview.

Who, one of the guys who asked the questions on subjects that actually mattered enough to the public that it started shifting public opinion? My word. What have reporters come to?

Nice of you commenters to take time away from pleasuring yourselves to pictures of George Bush in his flight suit and codpiece to offer these insightful posts.
Gibson is an embarrassment. He should be ashamed of hectoring the Dem candidates with questions about lapel pins during a disastrous war, a subprime mortgage crisis, etc., etc. But sadly, shame is in short supply among our media stars.

How old are you, dangovich? ("You Bush lovers...you all just LOVE Bush so much why don't you just marry him!.... Haliburton, Enron, lied-people-died, stolen election"...zrrzyhx;'alkl -system error-)
Point is.... sure, some of those questions weren't the most substantive in the world, and some of them were perhaps downright silly.... but ya'll are so sensitive that you've decided that Charles Gibson and George Steph. should be imprisoned for channeling Rush Limbaugh.

Walter, you can understand their anger. It's really upsetting, this endless race that's dividing the Democratic party into two halves-- the candidate half and the media half.

Oh, and newsflash: Bush indirectly acknowledges that government intervention is needed for people to survive. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080501/ap_on_go_pr_wh/bush_food
So first global warming and now subsidized food. [Not to mention that "Mission Accomplished" banner.] Who's keeping score of how many times the anti-poor and anti-intellectual model for conservative economics has been a failure so far?
