10:05? Maybe that's some kind of weird French time. Otherwise I blame Global Lightening.
...and you're sporting the wrong camera at that moment. The shot of young Master Jett over his right shoulder with the Seine sparkling beyond him is the stuff of frame-able still shots. Where's that damned Canon 40D when you need it?!
Sydney Pollack, a Hollywood mainstay as director, producer
and sometime actor whose star-laden movies like "The Way We
Were," "Tootsie" and "Out of Africa" were among the most
successful of the 1970s and '80s, died on Monday evening at
his home in Los Angeles. He was 73.
Roger Ebert already has up a full-length "In Memory: Sydney Pollack" over at rogerebert.suntimes.com.
For a man who is not good health himself, Ebert works fast.
Pollack was still plenty young enough to do some more great work, if he'd had more time. Ebert said: "Sydney Pollack, who directed some of the best mainstream films of the last 40 years and acted in some of the others . . ."
What terrible news. Bye Sydney. You were astounding in "Eyes Wide Shut", "Changing Lanes" and "Michael Clayton." You did better work as an acting director than most actors did in general. I will miss your extended camoes greatly.
anyone want to call jeff and wake him up for this? you know he'll beat himself up for not posting about this before ebert.
anyhoo, very sad news. was always a bigger fan of pollack's performances than i was his directorial outings, but he was definitely one of the titans of late 20th century american cinema, and he will be missed.
"The sad fate of Pollack has been known for months."
Is this why George Clooney and Tilda Swinton and most everyone when they won awards this past year would dedicate things to Pollack? The way they did that sometimes made me think that he had already passed.

The nike air force ones would even have numerous refreshed editions which achieves almost a total of 800 million dollars annually as a revenue account. Our team here in BAK even mentioned once in our postings that Nelly even added something exciting to it by coming up with a song called the Air Force Ones as an expression of his love for the iconic product. Nelly, as a leading hip hop sensation made an amazing influence to the overall popularity standing of the Nike shoe model.

...and tell Jett to get down!
Robert DeNiro and Jean Reno just spotted him while in the middle of making a shaky arms deal instigated by Sean Bean. DeNiro's taking aim as we speak.

Ebert had plenty of time to write that obiit. The sad fate of Pollack has been known for months.
His "Sketches of Frank Gehry" showed that he should have done more documentaries.
