I think the Wood-man's body of work ranks up there with the greatest filmmakers. But here he's like a guy who has owned the corner hardware shop for 40 years and when you walk in, all he does is bend your ear about the squeeze he's getting from the landlord and Home Depot. After awhile, you just want to say okay, okay, I'm damn sorry about the rent thing, but I'm here for a tube of caulking.
