Your tough guy image is really melting away Wells, I like it haha. Are they still young enough to latch onto and hang from your shirt? That's always my favorite part.

You're lucky. Years ago, I had two cats named Truffaut and Godard -- and even though they were brothers, they were always fighting. Flashfoward 15 years, and it's the same story -- two sibling cats -- Li'l O and Zorro -- who are constantly hissing at each other. Jeez.

I'm so glad that Mouse has a friend.

We just got 'landed' our fourth kitty - Tarzan Charlie. Had his first visit to the vet today and when I inquired just how big our new boy was going to get his remark was 'huge, just huge - his paws are enormous.'

There's a lot of cat food in our future.

Aww.

"Years ago, I had two cats named Truffaut and Godard -- and even though they were brothers, they were always fighting."

Hee! Did you know at the time that in real life, those two directors feuded after the 1960's, or was it just coincidence?

Joe - I never thought I'd come across somebody else who'd named their cat Truffaut. :-)

Told ya.

Now get ready to be woken up by a sound like bowling as they chase each other around and wrestle at 3 am.

You'd never imagine that two tiny little animals could be so loud...

Frankbooth: You are correct, sir.

Lipranzder: I knew the directors had fallen out... But, geez, I didn't think naming my cats after them would make the kitties equally acrimonious.

Longrunner: Actually, I have a special regard for Truffaut. I wanted to name my son Francois, but his mom would have none of that. So:

I clicked on the link. I am now officially scared of Joe. Talk about Bad Santa!

Or as one tough guy in a bar said to another: "You better watch out, he eats chocolate bars."

(Though it would be even better if you had "Truffaut" on one set of knuckles and "Godard" on the other.)

Frankbooth: Now THAT is hilarious. Not just funny -- because of your obviously informed film knowledge, freakin' hilarious. It's like I used to joke with friends: The last time there was an Elvis sighting, Elvis was spotted in a Nashville diner with Truffaut.

Truffaut: I want to say how impressed I was to see you working with an auteur like Don Siegel in Flaming Star.

Elvis: Thank you very much, thank you very much.

You should make that into a short, Joe. Only twelve people would get it, but they'd all laugh really hard.

See how deftly we brought this discussion back to movies? Now we need to be REALLY clever and bring it full circle.

That Elvis, he was a real tiger...no, no, he had feline grace...no wait, I got it...he was one cool, um...one cool...

I give up.

I see they've found a nice warm source to sit on. My Abyssinians (16 wks old) like to sit just behind the laptop where the exhaust is. Probably not good for the laptop but kits are happy.

Gorgeous photo Jeff keep em coming.
