Rings true, except that "you're open-minded, much more than me, I'd say." That sounds like a total Stone invention, a line inserted for the "boo, hiss" crowd.

"Hmm on a second viewing maybe it's not handheld."
Yeah, I think it's on a steadicam for some shots, but it's not handheld.
Is anybody actually looking forward to this besides Wells? this seems like the kind of movie where, if you saw it on cable in ten years, you wouldn't be able to tell if it was a joke or not.

A bit shakycam for my tastes, but seems ok.

Hmm on a second viewing maybe it's not handheld. There seems to be a lot of sideways swaying/screen displacement though. Kinda weird.

This is going to make me nostalgic for the Bush years, and I didn't even like them! I also think Parker Posey should have played Laura.

This style you guys are talking about can be seen in other Oliver Stone films.

I'm glad they're portraying him as quick-witted and charming. It's a little disconcerting, but I'm sure he must have been to get where he is.

Wow, it looks like Stone might actually rebound from Alexander. [At least critically, if not financially.]
