Does this tell us anything though, Jeff? Presumably it is still true that Wagner left because she took it as an affront that she would have to work for Parent over her at MGM and that Cruise will now be left at UA in control with a sort of "minister without portfolio" role or has the option to resign?

Can anyone explain what Tom's responsibilities will really be. I can't imagine that he will have any. Maybe Don Granger will be responsible to Mary Parent for moving projects along but will little Tom really have anything to do?

And how, if Paula had greenlight power for movies up to 60m, could harry sloan derail all of her choices and deny this power. It doesn't make sense to me. Please someone explain.
