The new poster is a lot more original and interesting than the first one and probably a lot more original and interesting than the movie. Or anything else Smith has done.

Hello all: who the hell looks at the dudes when watching pornos?
Count me as one looking forward to this film. While annually usually get five or six blockbusters, and ten or fifteen prestige/festival films which float my boat, lucky to get two comedies a year which I take a cute girl, load up a big tub of popcorn, a bag of candy, a huge slurpie and afterwards head home to josh and shag.
buster: Well, he's slightly more presentable than Ron Jeremy, so it's not that bad.
plastique: "who the hell looks at the dudes when watching pornos?"
I'm assuming chicks and gay and/or bi dudes? Anyway, one of the only comedies I'm interested in right now is "How to Lose Friends and Alienate People". Though "What Just Happened" should be fun, too. Not sure about that comedy where Stifler coaches "troubled" youth, though. The trailer actually seems to be getting positive reactions at screenings, but I need to get some good WOM before giving it a shot.
D.Z: Maybe it's just the crowds I swing in but on topic all the girls I was having dinner with last night reckon they focus on the girls when watching porn. You know, cause they're prettier and more sensual and porn guys are pretty gross even when they're buff. And most of my gay friends have zero interest in straight porn. Still, I'll concede bi guys. Or more likely bi-curious.
Yeah, definitely looking forward to "How to Lose Friends...". The book is pretty funny and Simon Pegg has game.
The original poster is a bit of photoshop ickiness but y'all are missing the point which is that the only reason you get the stick figures is because the MPAA is protecting you from disgusting images of ORAL SEX!!
We, in Canada, get to keep that one. Thanks to the Internet I can still see the stick figures (and vice versa) so it's not the end of the world.
Still, it had me checking Wikipedia to remember which country is the one with free speech enshrined in the constitution and all that "land of the free, home of the brave" stuff. Oddly, it turned out to be yours!

Kevin Smith made a movie so lame that we don't know how to market it!
Time to look at the RATBOY press kit!

Truth in advertising at last!!! The new poster's artwork is the rough equivalent of Kevin Smith's filmmaking.

When Kev resorts to aping Don Herzfeldt to get attention, I think he needs to throw in the towel.

ONLY Don Hertzfeldt can stick figues. EVER.
Poster's a clever capitalization on a ridiculous (and hypocritical) decision by the MPAA. He's not ripping anyone off, asshole.

Kevin: Well, Hertzfeldt has a distinct style of stick figure which I think Kevin is imitating...

For me, at least, they are making a mistake in trying to sell the "sexy" side of this movie ....
the thought of Elizabeth Banks shooting an amateur porno = good ... the idea of Seth Rogen = bad. Very bad.
Rogen's naked sweaty body > Banks' naked, glistening flesh.
I'll pass.

Plus I rate Dogma and Chasing Amy.
