Liars Welcome
In a 9.11 N.Y. Times column called "Blizzard of Lies," Paul Krugman described the central malignancy affecting MSM news reporting, which delivers perhaps the greatest lie of all: "Why do the McCain people think they can get away with [their torrent of lies]?," Krugman asks. "Well, they're probably counting on the common practice in the news media of being 'balanced' at all costs.
"You know how it goes: If a politician says that black is white, the news report doesn't say that he's wrong, it reports that 'some Democrats say' that he's wrong. Or a grotesque lie from one side is paired with a trivial misstatement from the other, conveying the impression that both sides are equally dirty.
"They're probably also counting on the prevalence of horse-race reporting, so that instead of the story being 'McCain campaign lies,' it becomes 'Obama on defensive in face of attacks.'"
Exactly so. And with such a system and attitude in place among MSM reporters and TV commentators (except for a small handlful, led my Keith Olbermann), where is incentive for McCain and the fiends running this campaign to play it fair and straight?

It would be great if some heavyweight Fiscal Republican would find the huevos to publicly say "Enough!" to all of this Palin bullshit. Assuming there are any rational people left in the Republican Party, they have to know how what a live grenade Palin would be as President. There have been blog rumors that Colin Powell will endorse Obama. Frankly, I don't think any Republican of stature is capable of exhibiting moral courage or independent thought. No one on the right has ever apologized for Ann Coulter.

If they can lie and b.s. and hoodwink their way into the White House, and thereby fulfill the will of Satan, what of it? Recent lie about Palin exposed: She visited the troops in Iraq.
she went to Kuwait, but she never went to Iraq. Supposedly she got close enough to the border to see Iraq. Kinda like how she's close enough to see Russia so that counts as foreign experience.
This was also from the same liars that claimed she "visited Ireland" when it was merely a refueling stop on her plane flight home.

What about the lies told about her? From what I've read on Factcheck.org she never tried to ban any books, she doesn't speak in tongues, and she never belonged to the Independence Party.
I think they're all full of hot air, really. (but then, I'm not an American). It just seems like people only think the other side lies.
