This 23/6 "speed campaigning" piece isn't bad either -- "all your negative ads in 5 seconds."
And by the way, the lack of interest in (i.e., response to) this John McCain voicemail message is mind-blowing. It's one of the funnniest bits I've heard in weeks.

I listened to the voicemail thing. It was funny, and I laughed. It was a good impersonation, and it really nailed that rage-freak aspect of McCain's personality.
But it seemed to speak for itself, and I really didn't have anything to say about it.

My hard drive died on Friday, so I lost internet connection over the weekend and was traumatized by data loss. Forgive my lack of usual contribution to traffic. That said, having listened to it now, the voicemail didn't really do much for me. But I am generally humorless, so there's no telling.

Have you seen this one yet?

I almost feel bad for this little weasel -- but maybe that's because he reminds me of Tony Perkins in Psycho, with the nervous laugh and the darting eyes.
(And what, exactly, is Fox up to here? Trying to prove they're "balanced" so they won't be totally dismissed by the world outside their usual audience?)

The 23/6 people do a lot of funny things, but I don't consider this lame bit one of them.
But Fox News grilling Tucker Bounds... now, that's funny.

I love 23/6 but the voicemail didn't do it for me this time. McCain having a rage is pretty old hat to me. The IM chat transcripts on the other hand have me guffawing like one of those really annoying people sitting one row in front of you in Brothers Bloom.

I'm sick of this "It's all relative" shit. Nothing in those Obama ad subjects is remotely untrue or unfair, and to compare them to McCain's disgusting distortions is tantamount to the same bullshit that led to SNL portraying Al Gore and John Kerry as assholes and George Bush as a likable guy who gets spacey.
