I love cats too but I've had the same thought from time to time. I'd like to come back as a spoilt housecat in my next life, except for the vile mush they eat. If it's any consolation humans live a hell of a lot longer, and have opposable thumbs, so we can open our own fucking cans.
Turn your audio up and it sounds like the "Preditor" is in the background (click, click, click), getting ready to strike... and then (Fa-Phoom!) does at the end. Leave it to Wells to find a way to make a cute moment creepy. ;)
I just took Tarzan Charlie to get 'fixed' today. It's the right thing to do and we have neutered/spayed all our cats but I felt so badly leaving him there crying this morning. Poor guy.

rr3333, I'm running Firefox 3.0.2 and it works just fine. I think Vimeo is just using Flash plugin, but I could be wrong.
I've got 3 cats and a cocker spaniel, and hilarious stuff happens constantly around here. The oldest tabby used to hiss at the dog whenever he came within 5 feet of her, but now that it's getting colder, I'll catch her snuggling up to him when he's sleeping, and when she sees me, she gives me this "Yeah, shut up, he's warm" look.
Animals are cool.

I never understood why many spinsters (no offense meant) or lifelong bachelors (without kids) continue to choose to live their lives all by themselves instead of having a dog or cat as a companion. It would add so much to their empty lives.
And that's why cats have the ultimate answer
to what life's all about....they've beautifully
simplified it to the basics.....sleeping, eating,
pooping, peeing, and a search for affection
easily satisfied by under-the-chin stroking.

At least now your life has a purpose.
Humans are just furniture for cats.
