He is everything I hate about everything: smug, talentless, boring and the beneficiary of garden variety nepotism. And he probably does get mad squack, which is why I want him dead. Dead. I hope he reads this (right) and becomes upset, if only for a moment, at the idea that there is someone out there who wants to see his lights snuffed out, because I'm pretty sure that he gets his balls licked all day long. "At the Movies"-- it's just a name now, isn't it? No one who knows or cares mistakes it for the original, or even for the half-baked real thing it's been in recent times. Neither Ben is an actual, legit "film critic" or even "film reviewer" (a distinction my old journalism prof taught me). Sadly, the masses will probably be taken in by the name alone. Reminds me of 1974, when the manager of Fleetwood Mac, during a particularly troubled period in the band's history, formed a bogus "Fleetwood Mac" and mounted a national tour. Sold tickets, naturally. The real band later sued and won. But I don't see that happening here. Alas.
