Not Photo-shopped

This 10.27 Celeb Bitch post -- four days ago! -- appears to confirm that Seth Rogen has indeed slimmed down big-time for filming on Stephen Chow's The Green Hornet, which Rogen and Evan Goldberg are co-writing. He'll revert back to his au natural form after shooting ends, of course. I knew guys who looked like Rogen when I was in my 20s, and now they look like sumo wrestlers with a drinking problem.

The only positive thing that could result from this is for the Bruce Lee TV series (kitschy as hell, but still Bruce Lee) to finally get a proper DVD release in the states. I'm all for more lighthearted super hero flicks, but this has Get Smart 2 written all over it. I wonder if they've contacted Bert Kwouk to play Kato yet.

It will be better than Get Smart. Anything is better than Get Smart. Pete Segal is ultra-hack to the extreme. At least Chow, who I am not 100% sold on yet, has some level of creativity and originality.

I don’t like it. Seth Rogan is one of those guys who looks better fat- like Roger Ebert and Al Roker.

Rogen was quite buff in Donnie Darko -- rather hot, actually -- so he's certainly capable of looking good.

Maybe they're planning on making the Hornet a cancer patient.

You could also see that he slimmed down between Freaks and Geeks and Undeclared. He's never gonna look like Adrian Brody but I'm sure he can avoid looking like John Belushi or other people Wells compared him too when Knocked Up came out.

I noticed in the "Don't Vote" ad that Jonah Hill lost weight too.

I wonder how much I could lose or how much I could bulk up if I had the time, money and trainers people in Hollywood have...

i'm told that chow is not only working on the script with rogan and goldberg but that he's also signed to play kato as well as direct......
in addition, the script is more 'kato & the green hornet' than 'the green hornet & kato'.......

Green Hornet like Batman is tied up in ownership ugliness. The series is shown every friday night on American Life.

With the exception of seeing Bruce Lee given his one minute of kung fu action, the show is a dog. Why must they make it into a movie? The series lasted a year and the fans of that show are now in their 50s. Not quite the prime popcorn crowd.
