Just got back from the rally tonight in Manassas, Virginia. Took 3 hours to get home, but it was so worth it. 80,000 strong, so moving. I've never been quite so hopeful for my country. Everybody let's vote.
For those not glued to MSNBC, CNN or Fox - Obama has won the very first votes tallied in New Hampshire. Strikingly, he did it in a district that hasn't voted Democratic in 40 years.
The election will probably be over shortly after 3pm PST today when Indiana's polls close at 6pm their time. If Obama has won it there, the only question will remain how large the margin will be. Indiana has to remain in McCain's win column for his Pennsylvania Hail Mary to work.
Yeah that was great. I'm a bit of a political junkie, but the Dixville Notch vote seemed so folksy and charming until this morning I thought it was an Aaron Sorkin creation. Between this and the Reskins loss (sorry DC), I'm feeling pretty good. Jesus there's no way I'm going to sleep.
Here in Dayton, Ohio, it took me 45 minutes to vote. Left at 8:30 am, a few people in line. It was crowded befor that, people voting before work. Polls here close at 7:30 tonight.
I got a spam from the McCain camp yesterday. I replied I already voted for the better candidate. Wonder if anyone read the response? Should I expect a visit from the FBI if -- God forbid -- McCain wins?

The voting location across the street from my apartment has had a constant stream of voters entering and exiting since it opened.
