Where can this guy possibly go in life, given the perverse tomb that he lives in, like a living mummy inside an ancient Egyptian pyramid, and his apparent inability to leave it, step out and renew, re-engage, reinvent himself. He's Miss Havisham from Great Expectations -- bloated, diseased and malignant beyond the darkest imaginings of Edgar Allen Poe, much less Charles Dickens.

I agree with Wells though... if anyone in the world of celebness needed a change-over/do-over it's Jackson. Perhaps he should have a talk with Madge and see if she can guide him... or better yet... and I know this is a daring thing to suggest... but what Jacko just re-became who he was when he recorded Off The Wall? Instead of maintaining his Man Who Fell To Earth persona?

For me, everything after Off The Wall is soulless, disposable crap that is memorable only because of the music videos used to sell it. This guy still gets too much sympathy, attention, and adulation.

I've said this for years but the coolest thing he could do is a show with a stripped down 4 piece acoustic band and let the guy sing. No fireworks, no dancing, etc. He has the talent to pull it off and it might remind people of that...

....if they can take their eyes off his weird face.

Thriller is a very good album, certainly a very good pop album. It's no great shame that's its among the best selling of all time, But without question Off the Wall is his masterpiece, as a solo artist. This is too sad. Perhaps he can join Daft Punk so his face will no longer be an issue.
