Drool
The Girl on the Train
I'm about to see Duncan Jones' Moon at the Yarrow. Then comes Lone Scherfig's An Education at 3 pm at the Egyptian, and then 500 Days of Summer, a Fox Searchlight film, at 7:15 pm. I don't know how to do all this and get in the writing time. I don't know how to do the writing and see the right films. I do know that items like this are boring to read. I'll try and post sometime between 5 and 7 pm today.

So you do a triple feature, come home, churn out your reactions (or as much as you can stand) before crashing for the night. I would think you'd be used to the routine by now, you've even got a window for a meal break around 5:30 or so.
I'm pretty much a novice at the film festival thing, but when I went to Toronto, I caught on pretty fast. Make sure you see as many films as possible during the day (one day I actually jammed 7 into my schedule), always position yourself so you are where you need to be as soon as possible, then fill your down time with bathroom/meal breaks, writing/forming reactions to the films, and reading newspapers/pamphlets, in about that order. Not exactly rocket science.

Keen to see both Moon and An Education, with the latter and The Greatest Carey Mulligan is doing rather well for herself at Sundance.

And Carey Mulligan also played Nina in that version of The Seagull you saw, if you noticed anyone besides KST (understandable if you didn't). If she's there try and get an interview - she's the hotness.
