What Isn't?

I was looking for a clip of the last two or three minutes of Patton, which ends with George C. Scott describing the victory procession of an ancient conqueror and concluding with the following: "A slave stood behind the conqueror holding a golden crown and whispering in his ear a warning that all glory is fleeting ." Those last four words make me gulp every time I hear them.

I thought you'd linked to a video about how Patton was assassinated, which is certainly a serious school of thought. I've never been quite clear on where Schaffner's film comes down on this, but it does end before his death.

The real Patton was as tough as the film portrays. But the funny thing is that his real voice was a high-pitched whine. The exact opposite of George C. Scott's.

Funny...thought I was the only one. I've sat through the entire movie three times just to hear that final paragraph of dialogue.
One of the best-written and directed scenes in movie history: as Scott and Malden talk about what they're doing, the last line about when they'll eat dinner, and Patton is thinking about a life lived, walking his dog, Malden leaves him and we see Patton from behind, walking through the small village buildings and we hear:

"For over a thousand years...Roman conquerors
returning from the wars enjoyed the honor of a triumph,
a tumultuous parade.
In the procession came trumpeters
and musicians and strange animals from the
conquered territories...
... together with carts laden with
treasure and captured armaments.
The conqueror rode
in a triumphal chariot...the dazed prisoners
walking in chains before him.
Sometimes, his children,
robed in white, stood with him in the chariot,
or rode the trace horses.
A slave stood behind the conqueror holding a
golden crown and whispering in his ear
a warning...that all glory is fleeting."

I absolutely love this scene and know why I love movies every time I see it or someone mentions it.

Animal prints on your boots would be a great idea to bring out the rowdiness in your character. The good news cheap nike air max is that, these boots are very affordable. But there's no such thing as 9 carat rubber. Or 24 carat Herve Leger comes to that matter. In rubber rain boots, you are more likely to pay for the brand names than the materials they are made of. Moreover there are even boots made up for any type
Canada Goose of occasion you wish to attend. it should also keep you feet dry from Christian Louboutin the splashes of rain drops.
