Sin Nombre

Missed it at Sundance, Focus Features opening it limited on 3.20, recently screened in L.A., no screenings in NYC yet. For me anyway. I'm not entirely sure Manhattan publicists understand that I'm here and not there for the next several months. Whatever. Day by day.

I saw that trailer on Film School Rejects, it blew my mind. I'm keeping an eye out for it.

Does anybody know if "SIN NOMBRE" means Without a Name in Spanish?

I saw the premiere at Sundance and the director verified your translation, initially it referred to the crosses of anonymous immigrants that dot the U.S. border. There was a shot of that in early draft/cut but it didn't make the final print. They kept the name anyway... See it. Truly AWESOME first film. Got a standing ovation at eccles when I saw it...
