Yeah, seeing as Cruise was doing a 'bit' for Jimmy last night too, I thought for a second he might appear in this trailer as Gibson's arch nemesis, but alas it wasn't to be. The interview with The Gib (did I just coin that?) was pretty good, Jimmy greeted him with "Shalom" and they discussed his drunk driving. Did he grow the facial hair just for this skit or is he seriously walking around like that?
Gibson looked terrified when Kimmy said "Shalom." Through the whole interview he seemed nervous; I kind of felt bad for him. The colonel video was funny, and got even funnier as it went along, and was a pretty good way to help reintroduce gibson after his year in the wilderness...
Don't have time to watch this right now but just chiming in to say I miss Mel's presence on screen. He seems like a nutball, but he's a very good actor, very versatile, funny, and a real Movie Star. And a totally kickass director who has directed a couple of all-time classics (Braveheart and Apocalypto). Would love to see him jump back into the fray.
Second that on Apocalypto. An overlooked action classic.
That said, I realized the other day that the only sequel I would honestly get excited about (in this post Indy 4-era) is Mad Max 4, with George Miller directing.

I did like that Kimmel. So Mel Gibson and Tom Cruise are back. Awesome. Seriously.

Gibson (okay, okay..."The Gib") is probably one of the most insane people in Hollywood -- and that's saying something.
I always keep wondering to myself, has he been miscast all these years in dramas?

I love it. Gibson seems slightly unhinged on the best of days. Too bad this wasn't a real movie. It'd be instant camp classic.
