Doomsday Porn

All day I put off writing my review of Knowing, and now I'm on a bus, heading for Union Square and a 7:30 pm screening of Sin Nombre. l'll have to do it later this evening. But the title of this item is a good indicator of where I'm coming from.

Meanwhile Ebert, perhaps in his delirium, is calling it one of the best science fiction films he's ever seen. 4 stars. I love that theater incidentally. "Well time is alway moneyyyy for the boys on Union Square..."

"Doomsday Porn"

Sounds like one of Teleprompter Jesus' press conferences.

The man just loves him some Proyas. Since I quite enjoyed Dark City, I may give this one a spin.

I mean no disrespect, but has anyone taken Ebert's reviews for the past five years seriously? The guy has gone crazy.

This movie is unbelievable. Basically the closest I've ever seen to a modern-day Ed Wood film. It even feels like it was financed by a church group.

Speaking of something closer to the genuine article, did anyone see the film made from Wood's script I WOKE UP EARLY THE DAY I DIED? Never saw it and wonder if I missed anything.

So basically you're saying you can't miss this one in theaters?

The more reviews I read (especially the bad ones), the more intrigued I become by this.

I like the idea that there is a movie starring Hal Holbrook about a lonely widower named Mr. Wickerman. Unless you mean WICKER MAN?

Also Ryansi51, there are others here. Fuck Cats, go Cardinals. Louisville Slug 'Em.

I think you should just leave it at the title. I don't think any review could get the point across so concisely and accurately.

Ryans51, my 5 dollas have you there as well. And best of luck. Great run you guys had last year. I have Syracuse in the final four sadly, based entirely on enjoying their warrior overtime performance almost as much as the Super Bowl, but still extremely unwise.
