I've said it once and I'll say it again: Jon Hamm is a GREAT talent. His work on MAD MEN alone should've made him a movie star by now, but in a way I'm glad he hasn't hit that level yet, if he ever does. he's just amazing to wacth and VERY funny.

If Clive owen and Nic Cage had a baby, it'd be Hamm.

that being said, last summer at the StL airport, my wife and I actually got to meet him. He was on his way to NYC and is a StL native (as are we) and I would never approach a celebrity, but we had to tell him how great he was.

I'm pretty sure he could've impregnated my wifeif he wanted to, but that's a whle other story.

Classy guy.

Hamm is awesome, but I will never not see him as Don Draper.

it's clearly going to be his signature role, of course, but i think he has a good, long career ahead of him. Sadly, he'd a been a star, a major one, decades ago, say 20-30 years ago when guys were guys and not all mushy and boyish. he's a throwback to guys like Newman, etc. Guys who were stars not just because of talent but because of their masculine charisma, too.

A rare breed nowadays.

yes, I agree, Hamm has an inherent quality of manliness that few others currently have.

Hamm has been very, very funny on 30 Rock, playing off his looks. The Valentine's Day episode was one of the funniest in the entire history of the series. Pity he only has one more cameo left.

He also starred in the only truly great SNL of the last decade. At least. Note: Good for him, but the musical guest sucked!

Hamm's impersonation of James Mason on SNL just blew me away.

Didn't know he had it in him.

Ironic that he did this Lex Luthor piece, because I think we all know he's make a great Superman/Clark Kent.

I've been saying for ages that he's the best possible choice for Steve Rogers in the upcoming Captain America movie. Barring that, he'd make a decent Hal Jordan in Green Lantern.

He's actually been mentioned for a GL film. Even been asked about it. he'd be GREAT for CA.

The Jon Hamm "John Ham" was terrific. Even better than the Peter Saarsgard SARS-Guard.

The thing is... LexCorp certainly isn't any more evil than AIG or WaMU.
