Wasn't funny when I watched it at 1:30 this morning. Doubt it's any funnier now.

As Shakespeare reminds us, "how oft the sight of means to do ill deeds, makes ill deeds done".

It had a great set up, but the payoff didn't come close to working. Why couldn't they have at least have Michael Keaton show up to buy his old Batman stuff? Keaton offers to buy it all for a million dollars if West will admit that Keaton was a better Batman.

Plus those kids should have been asking for props from West's old Cinemax After Dark classics.

West's "Batman" cameo on 30 Rock was funnier. "I was told there would be a meal."

Although, bonus points for using what appears to be the actual cave opening from the 60s series.

Funniest thing about this was the web ad for bipolar disorder that randomly ran along the bottom of the clip during the first couple seconds.

Target audience much?

What's with the extended Arby's plug? Lameness.

If you want a truly inspired bit of West casting, look no further than Young Lady Chatterly 2. Epic.

This, on the other hand, is forced and dull. First that horrible bigfoot nonsense, and now this. Wells has confirmed that he has no sense of humor.

Am I the only one who found this frighteningly plausible, and more than a little depressing?

I loved it, if only because it weirdly play off of Adam West's voice work as Simon Trent, the out of work television actor forced to sell off his Grey Ghost memorabilia to pay the rent. Twas a devastatingly powerful episode of Batman: The Animated Series.

This '70's era appearance on a beloved Cincinnati late-night movie program is much funnier, because you can clearly see Adam's not quite prepared for the host's cracked antics.

It would have been really funny if West wound up at Arby's at 1 ayem wearing skinny jeans, and while waiting to place his order he had some hopped up hispanic staring at him while giggling like a hyena from Roger Rabbit. Twenty seconds later and West snaps "THE FUCK is your problem!!!???" Comedic gold.

He'd probably make money if FOX was allowed to release his show on DVD. But then he's not a "struggling artist" like those "poor souls" on Watchmen forced to pay their contractually-bound legal fees to obtain the rights to the movie. Anyway, West should go the E-bay route.

Great idea and set-up, filming his garage sale in front of the Griffith Park location of the Batcave entrance (sort of the entrance to Batman's garage).
But horrible script and execution. Too bad.
