I used to go to the deli on that corner in the morning. One day this fat hispanic guy came in and he asked for a boggle. Everyone in the store was looking at each other and he kept on repeating "boggle," "boggle." Finally he pointed at the bin of bagels behind the counter. I said "it's pronounced 'bagel' you nitwit." He cursed me out in Spanish and became physically threatening before I could ask for a couple of packets of sugar for the cup of Starbucks coffee I bought from the Starbucks across the street.
