Very sad, obviously. Scary too, because all the security guards I've ever known take the job because they feel secure they'll never actually have to need to use their guns.

I also think that when you get to this level of outlandish, extreme craziness (particularly with anti-Semitism), it doesn't fall anywhere on the political spectrum. Many of the 9/11 Truthers and anti-Jewish conspiracy nuts I've come across have been rather left-wing, many of them socialists. The religious ones tend to be right-wing. It's all crazy.

The only link between the murder of William Long and this murder and the murder of Tiller is that he was shot while doing his job by a religious nut. Yes, what a leap of logic I took when I thought that a white supremacist shooting up the holocaust museum was religiously motivated. I stand corrected that he would identify himself as a christian, I neglected to read the nutters collected works.
