Yeah I agree, Obama should be in a cave, unexposed to the outside world, Not even to the 1-year-old news of Conan taking over the Tonight Show. How dare he tell a funny joke to calm a tense country.
Bush would've said something funny too I think, the guy had a good head for banter His problems started when it was about policy, diplomacy, the war effort, basic grammar, etc.
If you look for it, you'd find several instances of Bush saying funny and, clever even, things. Daily show rarely made fun of them, because they had quite enough material with his relentless fuck ups.
